Terms of Service

By booking a hire with Maddocks Collective, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

BOOKINGS

  • All bookings are confirmed once full payment has been received.
  • Bookings are secured on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check the selected dress, size, hire dates and hire period before completing payment.

HIRE PERIOD

  • Your selected hire period applies to your booking.
  • The dress must be returned by the agreed return date.
  • Extended hire periods may be available upon request.

DRESS CARE

  • All garments are professionally cleaned and inspected before each hire.
  • Hirers must take reasonable care of the garment during the rental period.
  • Please avoid fake tan, heavy makeup, oils, deodorant, food and drinks coming into contact with the garment where possible.
  • Garments must not be washed, dry-cleaned, altered or repaired by the hirer.

DAMAGE AND STAINING

  • The hirer is responsible for the garment from the time it is received until it is returned.
  • Damage, excessive staining or unreasonable wear may result in cleaning, repair or replacement costs being charged.
  • These costs may be deducted from the security bond where applicable.
  • If costs exceed the bond amount, the hirer remains responsible for the remaining amount.

LOST OR UNRETURNED ITEMS

If a garment is lost, stolen or not returned, the hirer may be charged the full replacement cost of the garment.

SIZING AND FIT

  • Sizing information is provided to assist with selecting the appropriate size.
  • Fit can vary between designers, styles and body shapes.
  • Maddocks Collective cannot guarantee that a garment will fit as expected.
  • The hirer is responsible for selecting their size.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

  • Australia-wide shipping is available.
  • Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
  • The hirer is responsible for returning the garment by the agreed return date.
  • Late returns may incur a late fee.

CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery and booking information. Maddocks Collective is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

IDENTIFICATION

Maddocks Collective reserves the right to request valid government-issued identification from the hirer before confirming or fulfilling a booking. Identification may be requested for verification and security purposes.

IMAGES AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

Garment colours may vary slightly due to lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Maddocks Collective reserves the right to update these Terms of Service from time to time. The terms applicable to your booking are those in effect at the time your booking is made.
